Salient features about the department:

 The Department of Veterinary Surgery & Radiology has undergraduate (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) academic programme. The department is devoted to impart quality education and provide excellent environment for the students during the ongoing course. In addition, the faculties of the department attends the TVCC on regular basis, providing a perfect blend of intellectual and practical exposure for the students. The department is furnished with modern equipments and the faculties are highly qualified and experienced to provide satisfactory animal health care to the patients. Apart from fundamental teaching and research, the department aims to give assistance to the society, improvement of public health and contribute to the animal welfare of the state.

Research activity:

The department has been involved in undertaking a sterilization project sanctioned by Agartala Municipal Corporation for sterilization of stray dogs in Agartala city.
