Salient features about the department:

The department is involved in teaching undergraduate courses that are offered in the third year of B.V.Sc & AH curriculum as per MSVE-2016. At present, the department is also engaged in providing laboratory diagnostic services on various parasitic diseases to the TVCC, institutional farms, individual farmers, Sepahijala zoo and other organizations from time to time. Disease investigation is regularly carried out during outbreaks for diagnosis and suitable control and prevention measures are being advised for the benefit of farming communities. The department is also providing refreshers programmes cum trainings from time to time  for field veterinarians and farmers.
